Our off road recovery straps are made especially for ATV's, UTV's, Snowmobiles, and all offroading vehicles. Sewn with orange nylon material and durable cordura fabric in the eyes for extra strength. These straps are also available in polyester with yellow fabric. Nylon straps have more "give" than polyester straps.

When using straps, it is always a good idea to lay something on top of it in case it breaks.

Each recovery strap is checked for quality assurance before it is shipped out to you. We have some of the strongest recovery straps on the market.

For other lengths or widths, you can email us at csr@wreckersupplyusa.com. Since our straps are made to-order, we can fabricate them according to your specifications.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Sewn cordura eyes are reinforced to resist abrasion
  • Lightweight and easy to store
  • Fabricated in the U.S.A.

How do I know how large a recovery strap to buy?

A general rule of thumb is that each inch of width will allow you to pull out about 9,800 lbs. and the larger the width of the strap, the less “give” it has. That is why we sell 1” through 6” wide straps on our website. For most people’s use, these widths are the most common. For special applications, please call our office at 877-670-3130. Custom straps are available at no extra charge.

SINGLE PLY RECOVERY STRAPS – 1 thickness of webbing between end loops

2” = approximately 19,600 lbs. breaking strength

3” = approximately 29,400 lbs. breaking strength

4” = approximately 39,200 lbs. breaking strength

6” = approximately 58,800 lbs. breaking strength

How do I attach the recovery strap to another vehicle?

You should pass one end of the strap through the loop at the other end to secure it. NEVER use a knot or additional hardware to attach it. DO NOT attach it another vehicle in a way that it may be cut or damaged.
