Adjustable Recovery/Tow Chain with Grab Hook, Slip Hook and Oblong

Our adjustable transport chain with grab hook, slip hook and oblong is made of Grade 100 alloy steel and make specifically to handle tough Tow and Wrecker jobs. Chain diameter is available in 1/2" and 5/8".

CARE AND USAGE:

Before inspecting and using your recovery assembly, clean the chain so that defects can be easily seen. When chain slings are in storage, they should be oiled to prevent corrosion and hung so that chains do not knot or twist together.

• Only shorten or adjust the chain assembly by methods approved by the manufacturer.
  
• Do not rest loads on the chain assembly.
  
• Do not allow shock loading of the chain assembly.
  
• Always avoid twisting and kinking of the chain.

ENVIRONMENTAL/CHEMICAL FACTORS:

• Avoid using acid solutions which can alter its molecular structure and strength.
• Excessive low or high temperatures can reduce the performance of the chain assembly.
• Normal operating temperatures are -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
